Summary

Retro Emulator is the current international app name. NES Together is the previous app and project name. In this policy, Retro Emulator, NES Together, and "the app" refer to the same Android application.

Retro Emulator is developed by linzhiqing. The app is an NES/FC emulator and library tool. It does not include commercial ROMs and does not upload ROM files or save files unless you intentionally share them outside the app.

Local Data

ROM files, save states, app settings, browser favorites, browser history, recent searches, and download records are stored on your device in app storage. You control when files are imported, downloaded, opened, or deleted.

Crash Diagnostics

The international build includes Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics. Crash reports, ANR reports, native error reports, analytics events, breadcrumbs, and basic app and device diagnostics may be sent to Firebase by default to improve stability.

Retro Emulator does not intentionally add ROM names, full URLs, email addresses, or Bluetooth device names to those reports.

Feedback and Email

When you open or submit the feedback form, Tally may receive the app version, package name, Android version, device model, locale, and the content you enter.

When you contact support by email, your email app sends the message and included device details to the support address.

Bluetooth Multiplayer

Multiplayer uses Bluetooth scanning and connections to find and connect nearby host phones. Bluetooth device names and connection status are used only for nearby multiplayer. Retro Emulator does not upload this information.

Search Browser

The Search tab is a user-controlled WebView browser. Websites and search engines you open may process data under their own privacy policies. Retro Emulator stores browsing history, bookmarks, recent searches, and download records locally unless you delete app data.

Advertising and Consent

The international build may use Google Mobile Ads to show ads when advertising is enabled by remote configuration. Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, and Firebase Remote Config may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device and app information, approximate location derived from network signals, consent choices, ad interactions, and diagnostics for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, reporting, and personalized or non-personalized ads according to your consent and device settings.

When privacy options are available for your region, you can manage eligible ad consent choices from Settings > Privacy > Ad privacy options inside the app.

Sharing

Retro Emulator does not sell personal data.

Data may be processed by:

Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Feedback and support email data may be retained to respond to requests and improve the app.

To request access or deletion for feedback or email data, contact linzhitsing@gmail.com.

Children

Retro Emulator is not directed to children. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support and we will review the request.
